About Cecilia Ensemble

The Cecilia Ensemble is the newest vocal group of the Moran Choirs, winner of the Grand Prix at the 2025 Budapest Choir Competition. Comprised of eight exceptional solo vocalists from Israel, the ensemble was founded by Naomi Faran and Guy Pelc as the choir group's professional flagship.

Dedicated to original and distinctive musical programs, the Cecilia Ensemble collaborates with leading composers from Israel and around the world. Their repertoire spans the Renaissance to contemporary works, featuring premieres of original Israeli compositions, a cappella performances, and collaborations with select instrumental ensembles.

Our octet explores polyphony and new works with clarity and color. We perform across concert halls, festivals, and intimate spaces, bringing our unique blend of voices to audiences worldwide.
